ABOUT THIS BOX
It’s the week before Thanksgiving and so we thought we’d give everyone a break. Many of us will be expending much more energy than usual for the holiday, so it’s essential to feel rested. That’s why this week’s meals come together in (fingers crossed) 30 minutes or less!
In short, we’ve tried to pare down the recipes into their bare elements: a tasty meat or pasta, and a few yummy veggies. Nothing complicated – no braises or long-cooking items.
WHY THIS BOX?
Get ready for the Teleme cheese from Dairy Goddess. Teleme is an American semi-soft variety that works well for melting or eating with crackers. In this week’s meal plan, we’ve included it in a wonderful Roasted Cauliflower & Teleme Frittata where it’s melt and mild flavor shine.
We also have our first Hachiya persimmons. The Hachiya is a Japanese variety of persimmon that needs to be soft as pudding before you eat it. It’s absolutely wonderful spooned over Greek yogurt or stirred into oatmeal.
