It’s a celebration of Spring Flowers in this box this week. From the flowering sage and chives, to the chamomile flowers (perfect steeped in boiling water for a calming evening cup of tea), to the flowers in this week’s Spring Mix, and even the baby artichokes, which are a type of thistle! Enjoy these sure fire signs of spring. We are finally inching into the season, heralded as well by the asparagus and fava beans.
A number of great things in the box this week.
Firstly, Brassica & Brine’s classic Sauerkraut. Chosen as one of LA’s top ten artisans by LA Weekly, we love Uri Laio’s “unique living foods from the best California produce”. Specializing in organic, traditional, wild-fermented foods, Uri’s mission is to make delicious foods that encourage vibrant health in those who eat them. Beyond that, he’s dedicated to increasing public awareness of these nourishing foods and playing a role in our local California foodshed.

We are also super stoked to have Savour This Sauce Romesco Sauce, which will be perfect for the Cauliflower Steak recipe, or an easy pasta sauce.
TOP TIP: When you store your carrots, break off the green tops, and they will stay fresh longer.
