Amelia Saltsman is one of our all-time, most beloved cookbook writers. Her newest tome, The Seasonal Jewish Kitchen, is fast becoming an OTB favorite. When we read her recipes, we feel as if we’re side by side with Amelia at the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market, with her in-depth knowledge of the Southern California seasons, climate and food cycles. We also love this book because the recipes are just so irresistible, making use of fresh fruit and vegetables alike in bright, colorful preparations that make our mouths water. For this box, we’ve selected a few favorite recipes. If you like them, we recommend Amelia’s cookbook for the holiday season. It has so many delicious ideas for holiday meals of every faith.
